Are they at least easy to access? My old Lexus had to have the throttle body and some other stuff taken off to get to all the plugs... major pita.

Unbolt and remove both air boxes, the unbolt but do not disconnect the intercoolers and prop them out of the way, then I just have to very gingerly remove the world’s most expensive and most fragile ignition system...

So, yep, major PITA

I had a CLK430 some years ago, and attempted to change the 16 spark plugs with manual tools.

My socket drive got stuck on one of the rearmost plugs, and I ended up having to call a tow. The mechanic charged $1200 to clean up my mess.

I’d imagine your V12 is no joke to do the job on, even with the larger engine bay.
